ready or not...

I'm enjoying
the last few days of summer vacation
before school starts on Tuesday

and
 the last few days of
this

the girl youngin' (that's from Strawberry Girl-one of my favorite read-aloud books) of mine
and

i
are off to get new do's.
that's a pretty rare thing to do around here
you might say:
i get stuck in a rut
i am a scaredy-cat  that way
i love to decorate my house
way more than i decorate *me*

but
we have some *big* events coming up
to motivate  me

and,
 well,
my girl youngin'
is
just
plain
growing up...

yes, change is coming

like it or not (i don't)
ready or not (i'm not)

change is coming

The changes are sad in some ways but exciting in others as our children spread their wings and take flight....Maybe some of it is that we realize we are not needed as much as we once were but then that opens new avenues for our life's also which can be exciting... It is all the process of life we travel through...

Be brave Rene, be brave! :) I happen to be one of those people who love change, it is so exciting and it means a new adventure is right around the next corner! The children do grow up so fast, my baby is done with school, and he just found out today that he got a full time job, but, we are all excited for a brand new chapter in all of our lives because of it,(the really bright side...rent $$!!, more to shop with! Now that's a good change for sure!)

Have a great 3 day with your family.

Blessings,
Donna Lynn

I am right with you on the "change" feelings. Your change is coming a bit before mine, but the same feelings exist. I think that picture of you and your daugther is beautiful.

I always get a little afraid of a new style.... But a good stylist is a blessing. I hope you have a great afternoon together. :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Just curious, what is your daughter eating? It looks like a piece of furniture. Have fun getting a new haircut with you daughter--great memories!
